Take part in a one-of-a-kind graffiti activity with a sizable blank slate and an assortment of spray paint colours in Miami’s heart of graffiti art, Wynwood. Get a crash course in spray painting technique, and then let your creative juices flow as you unleash your inner artist on a blank canvas.
Initially, you'll learn the fundamentals, such as how to hold, angle, and manage the spray can, as well as how to vary the pressure and length of the spray to make dots and lines of varying sizes and widths, and how to draw letters. From there, you'll advance to more advanced techniques like drop shadows, patterns, and colour gradients.
Following the presentation of the lesson's techniques, you will have free rein to try out new ideas and produce an original work of art. In addition to working side-by-side with you, the facilitator will also be available to provide advice and answer any questions you may have.
For your safety, masks and gloves are provided. Wear anything you don't mind getting paint dots on, as there have been rare cases of clothes being ruined.
